Impôts Ici offers two ways to deliver the records for a tax return: the virtual filing platform and, for certain files, email delivery after completing the questionnaires. In both cases, the service remains fully remote and a professional reviews the return before it is filed.
The choice depends on more than comfort with technology. The taxpayer type, volume of records, business or foreign income and the level of guidance required may affect the process. Review the steps below and contact us before sending sensitive information when you are uncertain.

- Download the identification questionnaire and document list that correspond to your situation. The forms are available in the section below.
- Complete and sign the questionnaire. Report important changes during the year and do not leave a relevant section unanswered.
- Gather the supporting records and any supplementary questionnaires for rental income, self-employment, medical expenses, a principal residence, immigration or emigration, foreign assets or another applicable situation.
Before sending the file, review how to prepare your online tax return.
Send the questionnaire and records to [email protected]. Use the following subject line: First name — Last name — Tax year(s). When several family members submit together, clearly identify the records for each person.
Do not place passwords, social insurance numbers or banking information in the email body. When a file must be protected or is too large, ask for the appropriate delivery method first.
